No. It is a non-certified training device. It is not an EASA- or FAA-approved FSTD or FNPT, and hours flown on it cannot be logged towards licence or rating requirements. It is used for proficiency, procedures and familiarisation alongside real flight training.
Private pilots training single-seat usually take DA42 Core or Core +. Flight schools and training organisations typically choose DA42 Trainer or Trainer Pro, which adds control-loaded co-pilot controls and the instructor station.
No. The system is plug and play. It is delivered fully assembled, with software installed and hardware calibrated, so you connect power and start training. On-site setup and training is available as an option.
The final figure depends on the configuration, optional upgrades, licence type and destination. The bands shown are indicative and net of VAT, shipping and import duties. We provide a firm quotation once the configuration is agreed.
Yes. A personal use licence is included, and a commercial use licence is available as an optional upgrade. Ask us for pricing with your quotation.
Lead time is approximately 10–14 weeks. The system carries a 2-year warranty, with support Monday to Friday by phone, email and remote session. Most issues are resolved within an hour through remote diagnostics, with fast component replacement when needed.
Yes. The instructor station is included with DA42 Trainer Pro and available as an option on all other configurations, either at the time of order or later.
